9am saw the Juniors head out on their practice lap, and some 24 mins later they started to get back in with some big grins on their faces.
That was not the case for some after 1 1/2 hours on the long sandy track set out by the corner inlet club on some pristine land ..
J1 had Scott Noble 1st with Stuart Holt 2nd and Brodie Harrison 3rd and only 60 secs from 1st to 3rd after the 1 1/2 hour race ment there was some close racing.
J2 had Tom Mason 1st, Andrew Wilksh 2nd and Jack Gaynor 3rd still only 90sec between 1st and 3rd
J3 saw young gun Alex Stephenson take the win in a thrilling race with Daniel Danders a close second and Christian Young 3rd, although Alex won by over 90sec in the end the two were banging bars at the 1/2 way mark in an awesome display of bike controll in the start grass section.
J4 saw Travis Cooper win convincingly by over 31/2 mins to Nathan ondrus and James Lennon 3rd. Travis heads back to erzberg in 8 days and we wish him all the best as he tackles the Iron Giant still as the Youngest rider ever to compete.
The seniors saw Matt Fish return to the Welshpool track only for the 3 hour too show the young guns how to do it, unfortunatly he miss judged the fuel required to do the 5th lap and it saw him pushing the bike back some 3Km short of the finish line.
A convincing win was had by Daniel Milner by over 2 1/2 mins to Mitch Harper in second and the return of Vic #2 Todd Stephenson saw him pick up 3rd spot.
Some other stand outs were young rider Ashley Day finishing 7th outright also Troy Maynes and Tym Davey got a respective 9th and 10th outright.
Round 7 saw the 19min track cut in 1/2 to make 2 10 min tracks, only thing is after saturdays cross country the track had turned into a Grueling sandy wooped out body breaker.
After Vic #1 Daniel Milner crashed in the 1st lap putting him over 50 secs down to Mitch Harper he had to work hard over the next 5 laps to get back and take the win at the end of the day by 15sec to Mitch harper and Blake Hore 3rd.
Also worth noteing was young gun Alex Stephenson finishing 5th outright for the day.
